In part one, I gave a brief introduction to what this series is going to be about. I also explained what a niche site is as well as gave a link to one of my successful mini-sites. Check it out and refer back to it as I go on in this post – http://MyBombayCat.com.
In this three-part post series, I’m going to be giving you guys an overview of what I did to create this website from the very beginning stages. Now, I’m sure there are things that I did that are wrong or could be done in a better way, but I really don’t care at this point. I’m just writing this today to give inspiration to some of you out there that want to create your own small mini-site.
Alrighty then. It’s Sunday again, so time for a good ol’ dose of a weekly review, no? Once I got over the fact that some of my readers are obvious racists, I got to thinking. Why not create a theme similar to Rock Solid that appeals more to the traditional “light theme”-lovers?
Embedding Youtube videos is a very popular practice by many bloggers. What better way to share a video than by embedding it directly onto your post? The problem with doing this, however, is that Youtube does not provide an XHTML valid embed code. This leaves some bloggers (especially those that are tightwads about their site being valid) frustrated.
