Wow, that seemed like a pretty long week. I don't know why, but it just did. Anyway, it's Sunday, and that means its time for another weekly roundup.

This week was pretty busy for me. I spent alot of my time doing personal things offline which ate up alot of my free time. When I was working on my computer, however, it was either for my upcoming WordPress theme or to making posts here on ForTheLose.org. Hopefully things cool down in the coming days so I can just get everything back on track.

Week in Review

Well, the week of March 22nd to March 29th, 2009 was a pretty decent one in terms of Blogosphere posts. Here on ForTheLose.org, I started the first big giveaway that will last until April 23rd. It's simple as hell to get a few entries for, so why not go and do that right now if you haven't already?

I also made two detailed "how-to" posts revolving around the jQuery plugin s3Slider and WordPress Custom Fields. Go check them out. Who knows, you might even learn something.

WebDesignerDepot is featured twice in this list because I just couldn't choose which post to show. Their massive post on everything you need to know about Twitter is just amazing and I definitely recommend you take a look. Their other post releasing 200 free unique-looking icons is also great, too.

WebDesignerWall also had a great post discussing modern-looking sitemaps and footers - the two elements that are most often looked over by web designers.

Plans and Whatnot

I'm really aiming to have this WordPress theme done and released in exactly 7 days. It's still only in the early .PSD stages right now, but I think if I just shut down Twitter, I might just be able to make that deadline. I've also been busy trying to get a decent ad network to put on a niche site I'm experimenting with. The ones I have on there now might as well be paying me with horse shit the income is so low. Once I have that ironed out, it'll be a huge weight lifted from my shoulders.

(For those who want to know, the pending name for the upcoming theme is either miniWP or miniTheme. Something along those lines.)
