I wouldn't be surprised if it really happened. As a coder, I know that the best CMS is the one which you create yourself. Nothing pre-made. Why? Because you can customise and you're not dependent on others' work. You can modify this or that, you can even modify the entire core without waiting for someone to release security patches. You can also customise the design based on your needs. No "two columns", "three columns" or whatever... You CAN modify things. You can move objects up and down, left and right. That's why it's better to be a coder yourself. And also that's why it's better to create your own CMS. I have been using WP on some of my sites which I don't have time to create CMS for.
