I posted about this topic in version 2 of ForTheLose.org, but since it’s gone, I’m going to go ahead and talk about it again.  It’s worth it .

Your choice of desktop wallpaper bascially gives your computer a unique personality.  It makes it different from other computers (well, as long as they have a different wallpaper ).  While most people setlle for the default wallpapers that come with their operating system, the rest go out to the internet to find one that fits their aura.  Some even make their own.  Here I have compiled a nice list of my top four favorite sites to get desktop wallpapers from.

This is my favorite site for all my wallpaper needs.  Even if I don’t need / want to change my current wallpaper, I still might go through this sites massive archive just to view all the amazing pictures they have in stock.  For the last few months, this has been the only place I needed to go to to give my desktop a nice refreshing feel.  I definitely recommend this one to all.

BartelmeDesign

This is another great wallpaper-download site, but it has a unique twist.  With some of it’s downloads, this site gives away the .PSD (Photoshop file) of the wallpaper so the user can give it some personal tweaks to make it just right.  It’s a pretty cool feature that I think all of these kind of sites should start to take advantage of.

This is basically your everyday wallpaper stock website.  Just browse through the archives and categories to narrow down your search and find just what you’re looking for.

ManyWallpapers

This is another regular wallpaper website.  Nothing really new or fascinating, but because of their large numbers of available wallpapers, I’ll give it a spot on this list.

Thats right.  I’m sure most of you that visit this site are into animation and have at least played around with Flash.  Because of this, I’m sure you’re a regular at the most popular Flash-animation site on the web, NewGrounds.com.  And because of this, I’m sure you’re familiar with the crazy-awesome Madness series and Madness Day that NewGrounds hosts every September 22nd.  Last year I decided to participate in Madness Day for the hell of it.  I had a somewhat original idea of Madness-tizing a few of the NewGrounds staff and throwing them into the cartoon.  It turned out terrrible great.  It landed in 13th place and I won $250.00 and a NewGrounds t-shirt.  Not bad.

Well, Madness Day is slowly approaching again this year, and I’m really looking forward to entering.  I was going to work on finishing Madness - Cupcake and submit that for the competition, but because of Rid’s nagging about how he wanted to do a sequel to HQ Madness 1, I gave in and we started work on it.  So Madness - Cupcake is returned to the depths of my harddrive, to take another long break.  (I will finish that one day, lol, I swear.)

I feel great about HQ Madness 2.  I don’t want to give much away, but you can probably tell this from the poster above alone- the basic plot is about a confrontation with Wade (the lone survivor of HQ Madness 1) and the lead zombie that killed his brother, Tom.  That’s all I’ll tell you.  The rest you’ll have to wait for.

While I’m doing all of the Flash work, Rid is working behind the scenes as the movie’s Writer and Director.  He’s about half way done with the script right now and I have to say, I love how this movie is turning out.  It’s a really great plot that’s not too difficult for me to actually bring into reality with Flash.

As for myself, just yesterday I finished up the main menu (which looks like virtual sex, imo).  I also began work on the animatic (animated storyboard) of the script so far.  I’ve never done one of these, but many of the professionals do it, so I figure it can’t hurt.  It’ll probably help me pace myself, aswell.

Alright… I think that’s about all I can write about this as of right now…  As we progress with the movie we’ll both post a little more here and there, probably along with screenshots of what we have finished.  Hope you enjoyed this post.  Now go comment on what you guys think .

That’s right everyone.  It’s Sunday again.  Well, it still kinda feels like Saturday for me, probably because I haven’t gone to sleep yet.
