Make Up To $150 A Month Easily

Before I begin, I want to tell everyone that this is not a “how to make money online” blog. This is and will always be a flash-based website and I planned to write about something flash related today, but when I saw this, I just had to spread the good news around to all my readers.

Matched.co.uk is a relatively new publisher / advertiser network on the scene.  It is still in “Beta” at the moment, but don’t let that fool you, I have a feeling this is going to be a great program in the near future.  It may possibly rival popular TextLinkAds, which is a favorite in smaller websites like this.  You could make anywhere from $150+ with this program, and it’s not hard to do at all.  If you have even one website, odds are you are in like Flint.  Matched.co.uk doesn’t look at how popular your website is, it doesnt look at the Alexa rank or Google PageRank, it really doesn’t matter…  All you have to do now is sign up, and place an advert banner they provide on only 5 of your web pages.  That’s it.  Once they’re up, you get $30 a month.  If you have 4 other websites (maximum is 5 websites per account), then sign them up to and you’re making $150 a month.

It doesn’t stop there folks.  That’s how much you make directly from them… but if you direct someone to their program and they sign up, they’ll pay you $10.  Imagine if you have these ads on 5 websites and you direct around 5 - 10 people to them a month.  You’re making $200 - $250 a month!

The only limit to this program is that they only pay via PayPal, which shouldn’t be a problem for most people, it isn’t for me.

Aight Ralph, so, what do I do now?

Alrighty interested reader, listen your ears up.  All you’ll have to do is go here to their homepage, sign up as a Publisher, add the 5 website pages you are going to place the ads on, and then wait.  (At this time, you can also ad your other websites to your account and get them ready.)  They’ll get back to you shortly once they’ve found appropriate ads for your site.  Then all you have to do is throw them on the 5 pages, and start raking in the dough.

You should also get your affiliate link and put it on your site or forum signature…hell, write it on a bunch of fliers and toss them out the side of a plane for all I care.  More people you get to sign up, the better.

But like I said… this is still in it’s early stages, this program.  If it’s anything like TextLinkAds was, it’s affiliate program might be going bye bye real soon, so if you don’t sign up for it now you won’t ever be eligible for their affiliate program and thus you’ll be losing out on a lot of money.  I know I signed up too late for TextLinkAds and missed out on their $50 per referral program… I’m still ticked about it.

So bottom line, even if you don’t have a website quite ready for this program right yet, still, sign up so you will be guaranteed to be in the affiliate program.  Then later in the future go back and fill in the appropriate web page details in your account, and they’ll give you advert banners to put on your site.

This is definitely not a program to pass up.  Use this information wisely, young ones.

So You Want to Make Money Online, Huh?

Sorry for the somewhat late post today, I’ve spent the morning finishing up a wordpress template I’d been working on over the weekend.  I’m glad to say that after hours of trying to fix one stupid-ass little bug in IE 6, I was finally able to wrap it all up, and put up the “for sale” sign on it.  I expect to make somewhere from $80-$100 on it.  Maybe more, who knows.  Depends on how the auction goes.  So far this summer however, making proxy templates and wordpress templates, I’ve probably made a somewhere around $300.  That’s only with about 4 or 5 templates, in total.  Imagine if I actually worked at this and made 1 or 2 REALLY nice templates a week…

Designing website templates really isn’t that hard… at all.  I mean, if you know how to make a link or embed a picture into an html file, you’re basically there.  CSS isn’t a hard language to learn, nothing like php or MySQL or any of that nonsense.  The code for it is usually basic English, unlike other languages.  For example:

#box{
background-color: red;
text-align: left;
font-size: 12px;
}

That’s a simple CSS div being created right there.  The name of the div is “box” and it’s properties are self explanitory…  The color of the box is going to be red, the text will be 12 pixels in height and will be aligned to the left.  Then all you’d have to do is put this into your html file:

<div id=”box”>Stuff Here</div>

That’s it, you just created a small section of a website.    All websites - well, at least the ones made properly - are made up of dozens and dozens of divs.  Here, let me show you in a picture, I’ll dissect forthelose’s template real quick:

All red squares are different divs nested in each other. Together, they make a functioning website.

Like I said, learning web design isn’t hard.  The hardest part is getting your hand on a program like Photoshop to design all of the graphics.  Once you’ve gotten over that hurdle, all you need to do is learn the basics of html and css.  There are plenty of sites that offer tutorials on this.  I’ll list a few at the bottom of this post.

Once you’re making templates, all you need to do is sell them.  There are dozens of sites and forums around the internet that allow you to throw up the templates you made for sale, and because of their popularity, your topic will be seen by hundreds of potential buyers.  If you produced a decent theme, you’ll have bids within a few hours.  Here are a few of my favorites:
