If you’ve ever seen a post with no visible comment form available to the readers that also has comments on it, you may have wondered how they got there. Most likely, these are spam comments from bots. Some bots just directly access the wp-comments-post.php file with their spam-filled information, thus totally bypassing the post that they’re apparently “commenting” on.

This theme is going to be very similar to the structure of Rock Solid. I saw that many people were saying things like “I never use dark themes” when I first released Rock Solid. Once I got over the fact that some of my readers are obvious racists, I got to thinking. Why not create a theme similar to Rock Solid that appeals more to the traditional “light theme”-lovers?

Embedding Youtube videos is a very popular practice by many bloggers. What better way to share a video than by embedding it directly onto your post? The problem with doing this, however, is that Youtube does not provide an XHTML valid embed code. This leaves some bloggers (especially those that are tightwads about their site being valid) frustrated.

We all have a little bit of a gamer inside of us. I wasn’t until I saw Steam was accepting Paypal, but yeah, now I am. As a web designer, I tend to stop and examine elements on other websites that catch my eye or appeal to me. These are usually where I get my inspiration from.

I got to thinking yesterday as I was writing the post announcing the ForTheLose.org Giveaway Extravaganza winners. Since I was embedding a Flash video into my post, I was wondering what was the best way to do it. Embedding things is always somewhat tricky, especially if you want to keep the HTML code value.
