So... Over the long weekend was Black Friday. I've never been excited for Black Friday or anything, ever. That is, until this one. See, I've been eyeing this one laptop for a while, since the beginning of summer, actually. It has pretty much everything I want plus more.
One little problem... The price hadn't budged an inch in 7-8 months. Everytime I would check up on it and see the price was the same, I just figured in a few weeks it'd go down a little.
I did that over and over until Black Friday talk started up. I was hopeful that Sony would participate in the tradition of knocking down the prices for a day and that I'd be able to snag one of these babies for myself.
Well wouldn't ya know it, they did.
In about a week I should have a happy UPS driver ringin' my door bell with my Sony Vaio FW in his hands. Here are some specs for anyone interested:
- Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit
- Intel Core 2 Duo Processor T9400 (2.53GHz)
- 3 GB DDR2 Ram (Should have just bought 4GB. Probably gonna upgrade.)
- 250 GB SATA Hard Disk Drive [7200 rpm]
- ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3650 with 512MB vRAM
- LCD 16.4" (XBRITE-FullHD)
- Titanium Gray Color
- Total end price (tax, shipping, warranty, etc) : $1,530.00
