And another week bites the dust. So guys... Only three more days until it's basically Christmas. Honestly, to me, it's like 2 days. Christmas Eve is probably my most favorite day of the year. I think I enjoy looking forward to things more that I do when the thing I'm looking forward to becomes a reality. For example, say I know I have great news coming to me via email. I won't check my email all day until basically night time. I just enjoy that feeling of knowing something good is about to happen.
Crappy example, I know. Whatever. Anyway, that's probably why I like Christmas Eve best. Just knowing Christmas is right around the corner, gifts, all that nonsense. I know it's cheesy-sounding, but I also like Christmas Eve for the fact that my family comes together (this year it'll be at our house here, so I won't even have to travel). We usually have a big game of Monopoly while A Christmas Story plays on a TV in the background. Good memories.
